Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a surgical specialty which deals with restoration of form and or function of a body part through reconstruction, remodeling or rebuilding of defects or deformities of the body. These deformities or defects may be a result of trauma, surgery and or congenital.
There are many conditions causing significant disfigurement, deformity or disability that are largely correctable by Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. CoRSU serves patients from within Uganda and from neighboring countries.
